Liu Qi, president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and Guo Jinlong, mayor of Beijing and executive president of BOCOG, Ji Lin, executive vice mayor, Cai Fuchao, and Chen Gang, vice mayors of Beijing visited CNCC Grand Hotel on Saturday June 28.

These senior officials were satisfied with the Hotel’s excellent facilities and services after they inspected executive suites and some public areas.

CNCC Grand Hotel is one of the official hotels accommodating some 400 accredited journalists reporting Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, and its ground floor will be used as part of the Main Press Center (MPC), the central work place for the 5,600 accredited written and photographic press covering the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, providing 24-hour services and facilities, news and information. The MPC is also the headquarters of  BOCOG’s Press Operations.
